7 Quick Ways to Overcome the Imposter Syndrome


Tell me, have you ever found yourself feeling like a fraud that despite your knowledge expertise, or proven track record of success, thoughts of doubts, have crept into your mind more than once? 


If so it's okay, you're not alone, we've all been there but here's the thing If you want to make this year, your best business here yet, then what I need you to do, my friend is to do a little work and decide within yourself that now right now, you're going to overcome imposter syndrome. So in today's episode, I'm gonna be sharing with you. My seven ways to help me, take back your power and stop feeling like a fake once and for all. So hang tight.


 Hey there, welcome to the online business Clinic podcast, you're listening to episode number 24, I'm your host online marketing, expert, Molly Ann Luna, and today, I'm sharing with you, my seven ways to help you stop feeling like a fake take back your power and overcome impostor syndrome once, and for all. Now, before we dive in, let's make sure we're on the same page and that we exactly both understand what the definition of imposter syndrome is. Well by definition, impostor syndrome can be defined as a collection of feelings of inadequacy that persist despite there being evidence of success.


Basically, the imposters, which I use air quotes loosely they suffer from chronic self-doubt and have a sense of intellectual fraudulence that override any feelings of success or external proof of their Competence.

So this is that Oh my God feeling they're going to find out. I'm a fake, they're gonna find out that. I just started my business and I don't really know what I'm talking about. Even if you do know what you're talking about, it's that feeling. Yeah. 

What if I get found out? What if no one trusts me, what if this goes nowhere? Right, We've all had those feelings of Doubt, those seeds of doubt planted in our mind, and today it is our time to uproot them and the first thing that we need to do  Is that recognize first and foremost if you have ever felt this way, even for a moment, you my friend, you are not alone. 


In fact, some of the greats out there have admitted to feeling this fear-based like, creep, inside of their minds time and time again from famous actors and actresses like, Kate Winslet, Tom Hanks, and funny comedian, Tina Fey to world-renowned authors like, Maya Angelou and CEO billionaire, boss, babes like Cheryl Sandberg all of them have been recorded admitting to the fact that yes, imposter Syndrome has crept into their mind time and again, sometimes they feel like fakes, sometimes they feel like frauds and yet we the audience are like, Nah, you guys are rock stars and you are owning your lane. 


So that right there is just proof that imposter symptoms a sneak a little bugger and it is our job to make sure that we put it in check. Okay especially as health and wellness, business owners.

Now I am guessing that you and I are a lot alike you know we both got into this realm of business, this particular industry because we're individuals with big, big hearts, who want nothing more than to do good works in this world and to help others transform their minds their bodies and just, overall their life and to being that's the happiest healthiest version of themselves.


Now, wouldn’t you agree that that really doesn’t make much sense for people who think this way and feel this way to be considering themselves as fake or fraudulent, especially if you are the type of Individual who's really just trying to make this world a little bit better of a place by sharing What it is, you believe, and the answers that you have to the problems, the solutions that you have to other people's health and wellness related problems. Okay, 

I'm gonna say no It doesn't make sense It does not make sense but I totally get it, Imposter syndrome is a sneaky bugger that weasels its way into our minds, regardless of what we actually know is true.

So let’s go ahead without further Ado Let's grab a pen and paper if you can and let's dive into my seven ways to overcome imposter syndrome, and to stop feeling like a fake once and for all.
